Description
Photograph taken on South Padre Island, Texas. A stormy day to travel.
As you travel to the north end of the island, the dunes close in on the road. At times the road an be covered in sand. The north end of the island is narrow and free of buildings. The south end of the island is built up with condo, hotels, and all tourist attractions.

I feel the lightning power, and adore the amethyst tones, Charlene. In Nevada, where I'm from, there was a road with moving sand dunes like these. Drivers never knew what to expect.
Charlene Adler replied:
Thank you Cheri for the comment. Photograph was taken on South Padre Island, Texas driving on the road along the dunes by the ocean and is pretty much unedited. Every few days the graders have to clear the road due to the blowing sand.
