Description
This photograph of a bright white hibiscus with a vibrant red center was taken on South Padre Island, Texas. Also in the family of the Rose of Sharon, the White Hibiscus is a large, showy flower in the south.
Hibiscus rosa-sinensis'White'
Bloom color: White
Large tropical foliage attracts butterflies and hummingbirds
Periodic blooms throughout the year
A fantastic source of summer color
Excellent to cover unsightly side yard fences or as a stylish screen or hedge
White Hibiscus adds a splash of white tropical color when in bloom, creating an elegant contrast with the dark green foliage that you have to see to believe! Plant Hibiscus rosa-sinensis'White' as a stylish, lush screen or hedge. We also like to use these medium size shrubs to cover unsightly side yard fences or use them to fill up spaces between windows. Use them near driveways and pathways to greet guests and welcome you home with their vibrant flowers and happy disposition. With periodic blooms throughout the year, this tropical hibiscus creates a show that is sure to attract butterflies and hummingbirds, while adding curb appeal along the way!
White Hibiscus loves the heat and prefers full sun exposure, so they are an excellent choice for a sunny slope. Caring for them is easy and applying fertilizer is beneficial to their growth. Moon Valley Nurseries carries the proper fertilizers for treating your dense soil, so be sure to pick some up while you are here! Once established, give them low to moderate water.
